Jeroen Kohnstamm commented: “I look back with great satisfaction of my years with FCI. Not only because it was exciting to play a role in the globalization of the factoring industry but also on a more personal level, to develop friendships. It was wonderful to make friends in so many countries and cultures. I want to thank all of my colleagues in the industry, present and former for their cooperation and camaraderie. “
Peter Mulroy remarked: “This is truly the end of an era, one in which Jeroen over the past four decades has helped build one of the most successful global trade associations in the world today. I am honoured to be assuming the role of Secretary General of FCI, an organisation that is valued by so many in our industry. But there is still so much more work to be accomplished. Our industry has experienced unprecedented growth, even in the midst of a major global economic downturn, a testament to the strength of our service, but we also see many challenges that can adversely affect future growth. As Jeroen’s successor, I will work diligently to ensure our industry continues on the path of success, as a thought leader in this fast growing open account space, but also through leadership in education, industry promotion, development of factoring in new emerging markets, and enhancements of our legal and communication infrastructure. I wish Jeroen a very happy, healthy, and well deserved retirement!”
