KPMG to Acquire BrainNet

KPMG AG has agreed to acquire consulting firm BrainNet Supply Management Group, which specializes in procurement consulting and supply chain management (SCM). The acquisition enhances KPMG member firms’ existing capability in designing and optimizing global supply chains and broadens the service offering to support clients across their whole value chain.

The transaction is expected to close later this summer, subject to approval from the responsible regulatory authorities. Financial terms will not be disclosed.

Based in Bonn, Germany and St. Gallen, Switzerland, BrainNet is one of the leading, international consulting firms in supply chain management. BrainNet serves clients with tailor-made solutions in the areas of research & development, operations, logistics, purchasing and strategic qualification. Goodburn, Global Head of Advisory, KPMG International. “With the acquisition of BrainNet, KPMG will have an even greater depth of knowledge and global footprint to help member firm clients navigate their most complex supply chain challenges and opportunities.”
