Tracking CFO Movement Across Canada.


Snap Inc. [Venice, California] announced that Andrew Vollero, Chief Financial Officer will be retiring. Mr. Vollero will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer until May 15, 2018. Tim Stone will replace Andrew as Chief Financial Officer. Stone has been employed at Amazon.com Inc. since March 1998. Mr. Stone currently serves as Vice President of Finance and served as Vice President of Physical Stores from August 2017 until February 2018. Prior to that, Mr. Stone served as Vice President of Finance from May 2010 until August 2017 in different roles, including Amazon Web Services & Digital Content and Amazon Devices and eBooks.

Zillow Group, Inc. [SEATTLE] (NASDAQ: Z, ZG) announced that Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer Kathleen Philips is retiring from her role as CFO. Jennifer Rock, Zillow Group’s vice president of financial reporting, technical accounting and FP&A, will serve as interim CFO while the company engages an executive recruiting firm to search for a new CFO. Philips joined the company as general counsel in 2010, will step down as CFO and continue to serve as chief legal officer through the end of 2018 and transition toward retirement in 2020.

WP Engine [AUSTIN, Texas] announced that David Brolsma has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will be succeeding April Downing who, after a five-year tenure, is leaving to become the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Civitas Learning. Brolsma joined WP Engine in 2014 and prior to his promotion served as Vice President of Finance & Accounting. Prior to WP Engine, Brolsma was the Controller and General Manager of Rackspace International, and before that served as Vice President, Controller.

Syneos Health [RALEIGH, N.C.] (NASDAQ: SYNH) announced that Jason Meggs has been promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Meggs has served as interim CFO of Syneos Health since February 2018. Before that, Meggs joined INC Research, the legacy company of Syneos Health before its merger with inVentiv Health, in 2014 and held senior financial and operational leadership roles, including Executive Vice President and CFO of the Commercial Solutions segment. Before that he gained experience from his work at Quintiles, Deloitte and Arthur Andersen.

FactSet [NORWALK, Conn.] (NYSE: FDS, NASDAQ: FDS) announced that it has entered into a separation agreement with Maurizio Nicolelli, the company’s Chief Financial Officer. The agreement was entered into after Nicolelli and FactSet discussed his transition from his role as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, to pursue other interests. Nicolelli will remain with FactSet through December 2018. Nicolelli joined FactSet as a Senior Accountant in 1996 and has led the Finance organization since 2009, through his roles as Principal Financial Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

Civilized Worldwide Inc. [LOS ANGELES and SAINT JOHN, NB] announced Mark Goldhar as newly appointed chief financial officer. Goldhar was the chief financial officer for Robinson’s Cannabis. He is also financial advisor for Panag Pharma.

Wheels Up [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Eric Jacobs as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Wheels Up, Mr. Jacobs most recently served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development of Cox Automotive, Inc. and Executive Vice President, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer of Dealertrack Technologies, Inc., collectively. Eric brings over 15 years of senior executive leadership experience to Wheels Up, previously serving as Senior Vice President, General Counsel of Dealertrack and President of Dealertrack Canada. Prior to working at Dealertrack, Mr. Jacobs was an attorney at O’Melveny & Myers LLP and an audit manager at KPMG LLP.

The Mosaic Company [PLYMOUTH, Minn.] (NYSE: MOS) announced that Clint Freeland has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Freeland most recently was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Dynegy, Inc. Prior to joining Dynegy, Freeland held positions as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Senior Vice President—Strategy and Financial Structure at NRG Energy. Earlier in his career he worked for Enron Corporation, Coral Energy and ABN AMRO Bank.

JFrog [SUNNYVALE, California] announced that Jacob Shulman joins JFrog as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer at Mellanox Technologies Ltd. Prior to Mellanox, Shulman held key finance positions at Atrica, Thyssenkrupp AG, Matav Cable Systems and Ernst & Young.

Hunt Mining Corp. [LIBERTY LAKE, Wash.] (TSX-V: HMX, OTC: HMXZF) announced the appointment of Kenneth B. Atwood to the position of Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), upon the retirement of James N. Meek. Mr. Atwood was appointed the Corporation’s Controller on March 1, 2017. Mr. Atwood is the former Chief Financial Officer for the St. Eugene Golf Resort Casino and was formerly employed as an Assurance Manager with BDO Canada.
APCO Holdings [NORCROSS, Ga.] has named David Vickers as the company’s new chief financial officer. Vickers most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of The Warranty Group. Vickers’ career began with a nine-year stint in the insurance division at Ernst & Young. He has served as CFO for both publicly-held as well as private-equity backed organizations.

Allison Transmission Holdings Inc. [INDIANAPOLIS] (NYSE: ALSN) announced that it has appointed G. Frederick Bohley III as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Bohley has been with Allison Transmission since 1991 and currently serves as Vice President, Finance and Treasurer.

Better Mortgage [NEW YORK] announced that it has hired Howard Katzenberg as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Better, Katzenberg was the CFO of OnDeck, where he joined in 2008 as one of its first employees.

Transplace [DALLAS] announced the appointment of Chris Nester as chief financial officer (CFO). With 18 years of financial experience, Nester was most recently the senior vice president and treasurer of Sabre.

Joseph Phelps Vineyards [ST. HELENA, CALIF.] announced the promotion of Ami Iadarola to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ami joined Joseph Phelps Vineyards in 1998 as Accounting Manager and was quickly promoted to Controller. Ami held positions at both Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars and Domaine Chandon prior to joining Phelps.

Dine Brands Global, Inc. [GLENDALE, Calif.] (NYSE: DIN) announced the appointment of Thomas Song as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Song serves as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Innovation of Choice Hotels International, Inc., a position he has held since 2013. Prior to Choice Hotels, Mr. Song served as the Head of Corporate Development and Strategy for the Hanover Insurance Group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Song held positions in management consulting and investment banking.

Williamsville Sears Management, Inc. [NEW YORK] (OTC Pink: WSML) announced that the Board of Directors of the Company has appointed Amanda Wester as the Chief Financial Officer of Williamsville Sears Management Inc. Amanda has also been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Williamsville Sears Management, Inc. Amanda currently serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer of Palewater Global Management Inc., the parent Company of Williamsville Sears Management, Inc. Most recently, Ms. Wester served as the Chief Financial Officer for Viamedia. Previously, Amanda served as the Chief Financial Officer for Innovative Mattress Solutions.

Flexion Therapeutics, Inc. [BURLINGTON, Mass.] (NASDAQ: FLXN) announced that David Arkowitz has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Arkowitz succeeds Frederick Driscoll, who has been serving as the company’s financial advisor since announcing his retirement in early 2017. Prior to joining Flexion, Mr. Arkowitz served as Chief Operating Officer and CFO at Visterra, Inc. Since 2014, Mr. Arkowitz has also served on the board of directors and as chair of the audit committee of Spring Bank Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Previously Mr. Arkowitz was CFO at Mascoma Corporation, AMAG Pharmaceuticals and Idenix Pharmaceuticals. Preceding his tenure at Idenix, Mr. Arkowitz spent more than 13 years at Merck & Co., Inc. where he held roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President and Controller of the U.S. operations, Controller of the global research and development division, and CFO.

T-System, Inc. [DALLAS] has hired Steve DeCosta as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). DeCosta joins T-System from Research Now. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade in financial leadership positions with THQ Inc. and Advanced Structures Inc. He began his career in public accounting as a licensed CPA.

Exelon [CHICAGO] announced that Joseph Nigro, currently CEO of Constellation, was promoted to Exelon Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Jack Thayer, who becomes Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer. Nigro is a 22-year veteran of Exelon, most recently leading Exelon’s retail and wholesale business.

HighPoint Resources Corporation [DENVER] (NYSE: HPR) announced the promotion of William M. Crawford to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Crawford has served as Senior Vice President – Treasury and Finance since February 2016, as Vice President – Finance and Marketing from February 2009 until February 2016, and previously served as Director – Finance, Director of Investor Relations and in other finance related functions since joining the Company in 2004. From 1994 through 2003, Mr. Crawford held various domestic and international positions in accounting and finance with several subsidiaries of Schlumberger Limited.

The American Urological Association [BALTIMORE] announced that Barbara Hartford has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Hartford most recently served as AUA Director of Finance. She succeeds Mark Campobello, who recently retired after serving 23 years in the role. Prior to joining the AUA in 2004, Hartford worked in public accounting for KPMG. Hartford has also held financial consulting positions in the healthcare field throughout her 32 years of experience.

DealCloud [NEW YORK] announced that Jim Weber has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Recently, Jim was the CFO at Valiant Solutions. Prior to that, Jim was CFO at Ghostery, Inc., and of iLevel Solutions. Prior to iLevel, Jim was CFO, Treasurer and Vice President of Operations for FalconStor Software.

US Lighting Group [EASTLAKE, Ohio] (OTC: USLG) announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Susan Tubbs as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining US Lighting Group, Inc., Ms. Tubbs was CFO of Preferred Acquisitions Company LLC. Prior to that, Ms. Tubbs served as CFO of International Metals.
