Le nouveau CFO dirige depuis le 30 septembre déjà le département des finances de Valora en tant que suppléant de Thomas Vollmoeller (CEO), CFO intérimaire.
M. Trezzini est économiste et expert comptable diplômé, il était dernièrement actif dans le groupe Valartis et à la banque Valartis en tant que Group CFO et membre de la direction du groupe.

Valora appoints Dr. Lorenzo Trezzini as its new Chief Financial Officer
Since September 30, 2008, Lorenzo Trezzini has been managing Valora’s Finance department, deputising for Thomas Vollmoeller, Valora’s Chief Executive Officer, who has also been acting as interim CFO from that date. The Board of Director’s has now appointed Dr. Trezzini as Valora’s new Chief Financial Officer.
Before joining Valora, Lorenzo Trezzini, who holds a doctorate in Economics and is a chartered accountant, was most recently Group CFO of the Valartis Group and a member of the executive committees of the Valartis Group and of Valartis Bank AG. After completing his studies, he worked as an auditor for Deloitte from 1994 to 2001, first for Deloitte Switzerland in Zurich and then for Deloitte USA in New York. He then moved to Ernst & Young, where he worked in corporate finance, before taking on the role of investment manager for Invision AG, a venture capital and private equity firm where he worked from 2002 to 2004.
Lorenzo Trezzini, a Swiss citizen, is 40 years old. During the two months he has spent at Valora he has been able to familiarise himself thoroughly with the Group, devoting most of his time so far to the budget process. He will take up his duties as CFO immediately and will simultaneously join Valora’s Group Executive Management. Thomas Vollmoeller is delighted with this appointment: "In Lorenzo Trezzini we have gained an extremely competent and committed finance specialist, whose skills will ideally complement those of our existing Group Executive Management team. In the short time he has been with Valora, he has provided both his Executive Management colleagues and the Board with ample evidence of his competence and expertise".
