His arrival is another milestone on Astorg’s path to assert its position within the leading European private equity firms. Both Astorg and its portfolio companies will benefit from his proven ability to align Finance with the overall company strategy.

Jacques-François comes from Millicom-Tigo where he managed the Finance function, as Group Financial Controller as well as Chief Accounting Officer. This was a period where the company saw significant performance improvement and digitalization before listing back to the NASDAQ.

Prior to this, Jacques-François was CFO of the procurement arm of Vodafone, a group in which he spent most of his career in various roles, countries and stages of business maturity.

Previously he worked for Morocco Telecom, a subsidiary of Vivendi, shortly after privatisation. He started his career at SFR in France after an experience in audit with Arthur Andersen.

Jacques-François graduated from ESCP Europe and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
