Wall Street Systems appoints new managing director of sales and client services

Wall Street Systems (Wallstreet), the global provider of treasury, trading and settlement solutions and services, has today announced that it has appointed Gavin Style as its managing director of sales and client services. Style will be responsible for the company’s sales, sales support, account management and client services.

“Gavin’s appointment follows an extensive search for a senior figure with a successful track record in selling software and services to financial institutions and corporations,” said Joel Mandelbaum, president and CEO of Wall Street Systems. “In his appointment, we’re confident we’ve found the best person for the role, who will be instrumental in growing our business and providing first class support to our existing client base.”

Style joins Wallstreet from Moody’s KMV, the largest provider of credit risk systems for financial institutions and corporations, where he was global head of client solutions. Style was responsible for sales, marketing and support globally. Furthermore, he was conducive in the company’s rapid revenue growth during the two years he spent there.

Previously, Style was managing director for SunGard, where – during an eight-year tenure – he rose quickly up the ranks, selling complex software solutions to financial services organisations. Earlier in his career, he sold market data for Dow Jones Telerate and ADP.

“I’m delighted to be joining a company with such high potential for future growth, and which offers genuinely valuable business-focused solutions to its financial institution, corporate and government clients,” said Gavin Style, new managing director of sales and client services at Wallstreet. “I am confident that my experience means I can make a significant contribution to the future success of the company and further develop what is already a profitable and well-respected business.”

Style has a Masters degree in Engineering and Management from the University of Birmingham in the UK. He will be based at Wallstreet’s London headquarters.
