UK | CFO Moves - week ending 6 June 2014

Tracking CFO Movement Across the United Kingdom.


Lloyds Banking Group plc announced the appointment of Simon Henry as an independent Non-executive Director of the Group with effect from 26 June 2014. Mr Henry will serve as a member of the Group’s Audit and Risk Committees. Mr Henry is the Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Director of Royal Dutch Shell plc, a position he has held since May 2009. Previously, he was Shell’s Chief Financial Officer for Exploration & Production from 2004 to 2009 and Head of Group Investor Relations from 2001 to 2004. Prior to these roles, Mr Henry held various finance posts within Shell, whom he joined in 1982.

Michael Page International plc (“PageGroup”) announced the appointment of Kelvin Stagg as Chief Financial Officer. Kelvin joined PageGroup as Group Financial Controller and Company Secretary in July 2006 and was appointed Acting Chief Financial Officer in October 2013. Prior to joining PageGroup Kelvin held a variety of finance positions with Allied Domecq and Unilever.

ProSight Specialty Underwriters Ltd. announced that David Dunning has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Dunning comes to ProSight with over 30 years of experience in senior executive roles in the insurance industry, including Novae, Amlin and Canopius.

New Look announced the appointment of Mike Iddon as Chief Financial Officer. Mike will join New Look from Tesco PLC where he is currently Group Finance Director, Planning, Treasury and Tax. Richard Collyer will remain in the role of Interim CFO until Mike joins. Mike has held numerous senior positions in his 13 year career at Tesco PLC and before his current role was the UK Finance Director and a member of the UK Leadership team from 2009 to 2012, Finance Director in Tesco South Korea, Group Property Finance Director and Non Food Finance Director. Prior to joining Tesco PLC, Mike held senior positions at Kingfisher PLC and Whitbread PLC.

Close Brothers Group plc announced the appointment of Oliver Corbett as an independent non-executive director, and as a member of the Audit, Risk, Remuneration and Nomination and Governance Committees. Oliver Corbett was group chief financial officer of LCH.Clearnet Group Limited until May 2014 and has been a non-executive director of Rathbone Brothers plc since March 2006. He worked for SG Warburg, Phoenix Securities (later Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette) and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he was managing director of investment banking. He was group finance director of Novae Group plc from October 2003 to November 2012.

APR Energy plc (LSE: APR) announced that Andrew Martinez, Chief Financial Officer, has informed the Company that he has decided to step down from his role and to leave the Company with effect from 1 September 2014 in order to pursue other interests. Lee Munro, currently APR Energy’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and Systems, will take on the role of interim CFO of the Company until a permanent successor is appointed. Lee joined APR Energy in December, 2008. He worked for General Electric for 11 years before APR and was GE’s Chief Executive Officer for its European Operations Services.

Air Partner plc has appointed Neil Morris as Chief Financial Officer. Neil is currently Air Partner’s interim Group Financial Controller, a position he has held since March 2014. Prior to joining Air Partner, Neil was Group Finance Director of All Leisure Group PLC. Before joining All Leisure, he spent 11 years at Deloitte LLP, primarily working in the aviation and travel sector.

Telecom Plus PLC (trading as the Utility Warehouse) announced that Chris Houghton (Finance Director) will be leaving the company on 3 October 2014 to pursue new challenges. He will continue in his executive board role until his departure to assist with an orderly handover of responsibilities.
