Cable & Wireless Communications Plc announced the appointment of Perley McBride as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). R. Perley McBride served as Chief Financial Officer at Leap Wireless International (which operated the Cricket Communications mobile brand) from December 2012 through to May 2014. Prior to Leap Wireless, he served as Executive Vice President of Finance at the Weather Company between 2010-2012. He served in several senior financial management roles at Frontier Communications (formerly Citizen’s Communications) between 1999-2010, and also between 1994-1997. He also worked in the finance department at Sprint Corporation early in his career.

Countrywide plc announced that Richard Adam has been appointed Non-Executive Director of the Company and he will be Chairman of the Company’s Audit and Risk Committee with effect from 1 August 2014. Richard has been Group Finance Director of Carillion plc since April 2007 and before then he was Group Finance Director of Associated British Ports Holdings plc. He is Non-Executive Director of Wincanton plc and was previously Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of SSL International plc and Zattikka plc. Richard qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG Audit plc in 1982.

AFC Energy PLC announced that Jane Dumeresque, Finance Director and Company Secretary, is leaving the Company by mutual agreement to focus on her other business interests.

Camellia Plc announced that Susan Walker will join the Company as Finance Director Designate on 1 July 2014. It is intended that she will be appointed to the Board as Group Finance Director in June 2015 when Anil Mathur, the current Group Finance Director retires from the Group.

Charles Taylor plc announced that Mark Keogh will be joining Charles Taylor plc on 16th June to become the Group Chief Financial Officer in succession to Tito Soso, the current Group Chief Financial Officer, who, as announced previously, has given notice. It is intended that Mark will join the board of Charles Taylor plc in due course. Mark will join Charles Taylor from Meridien Restructuring. He was previously Group Managing Director & Finance Director of Warner Estate Holdings plc. Mark has also acted as finance director of Severn Trent Water, Mowlem Construction Services and BP Marine.

Audioboom Group plc (AIM: BOOM) announced the appointment of Brian Southward as Non-Executive Director. Brian is the co-founder and CFO of Starcount. Prior to co-founding Starcount, Brian was Group Commercial Director/CFO for Iris Worldwide Ltd and Commercial Director for Airmiles UK Ltd.

Enteq Upstream plc announced that David Steel was appointed to the Board of Directors, as Finance Director. The appointment to the Board of Directors follows David’s promotion from the role of Group Financial Controller as announced on 11 December 2013.
