CFO Moves Canada – week ending August 30, 2013

Inscape (TSX: INQ) announced that Kent Smallwood, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, will be leaving the company effective September 30, 2013 in order to pursue other interests.

Huntingdon Capital Corp. (TSX: HNT) announced that Jaime Pattison has been promoted to Interim Chief Financial Officer.

ViXS Systems Inc. (TSX: VXS) announced that Charlie Glavin has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Glavin was most recently CFO for Phoenix Energy and Partner at MP2 Capital. As Chief Strategy Officer for Spreadtrum Communications in Shanghai, Mr. Glavin led its successful IPO and M&A efforts, he was then retained by the venture capital firm, New Enterprise Associates, as an Executive-in-Residence to consult on its Technology and Energy portfolios. Previously, Mr. Glavin was a senior global semiconductor analyst for Credit Suisse, Needham, and ThinkEquity Partners. He also worked as a Senior Engineer at Intel Corporation and began his career with Fidelity Investments. Mr. Glavin has served as an independent Director or Advisor for a variety of technology companies, including: Mirics (UK), Dust Networks (sold to Linear Technologies), Luminary Micro (sold to Texas Instruments), Solar Junction, FastCAP Systems, and Convergence Wireless.

Sonde Resources Corp. (TSX: SOQ) announced that Rene P. Beaumier has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Since 2010, Rene has been a consultant, including acting as CFO for Anglo Canadian Oil Corp., a Western Canada focused oil and gas company. Prior thereto, Rene spent 17 years with Nexen, Inc. and Talisman Energy, Inc. primarily on international assignments in Nigeria, Sudan and Indonesia. Rene started his career with the Calgary office of Deloitte LLP. Kurt Nelson, Sonde’s current CFO, has elected to retire.

Ivernia Inc. (TSX: IVW) announced that, effective September 30, 2013, Brent Omland will step down as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer to pursue other opportunities. Stephen Pike, Group Financial Controller of Enirgi Group, will become interim CFO of Ivernia.

Pan American Fertilizer Corp. (TSX-V: PFE) announced that Mr. Sukhprit Sajan has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Sajan is replacing Mr. Herrick Lau, who has held the position since May 2012. Mr. Sajan has been VP Finance with the Company since March 2013.

Altiplano Minerals Ltd. (TSX-V: APN) announced the appointment of Justin Timms as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Justin currently also serves as the CFO of Trigold Resources Inc. His prior experience includes serving as a controller for a start-up drilling services company operating in North America.

Jadela Oil Corp. (TSX-V: JOC) announced that Ross Jones has been appointed as interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Jones is also interim CFO with Eaglewood Energy Inc.

Giga Capital Corporation (TSX-V: GIG.H) regrets to announce the passing of Michael Poon on August 13, 2013. Until the time of his death, Mr. Poon was the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and a director of the Corporation. The Corporation has appointed Frank Boyd as the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary for the Corporation.

CFO Moves Canada – week ending August 23, 2013

Munich Re announced that Simon Curtis will be joining as Chief Financial Officer for the North American Life business. Mr. Curtis’ appointment is effective September 3rd, 2013. Mr. Curtis joins with more than 30 years of experience from a variety of roles at Manulife and most recently Deloitte, where he was a Partner in their Assurance & Advisory practice. Mr. Curtis’s appointment comes with the announcement that Doug Tozer will retire in the spring of 2014 after more than 20 years as CFO and Appointed Actuary in Canada.

Coalspur Mines Limited (TSX: CPT) announced the appointment of Robert Gough as Chief Financial Officer with effect from October 1, 2013. Mr. Gough previously worked at BHP Billiton for a cumulative 16 years that included a number of senior executive roles. Most recently Mr. Gough was Vice President Finance (CFO) for BHP Billiton’s Energy Coal division based in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Gough’s prior roles at BHP Billiton include VP Finance (CFO) in the Minerals Exploration division and VP Business Development in both the Energy Coal and Diamonds and Specialty Products divisions.

Super Nova Minerals Corp. (CNSX: SNP) announced that Joao (John) da Costa has resigned as CFO and director of the Company effective August 20, 2013, for personal reasons. Rita Tung has been appointed as the CFO and a director of the Company effective August 21, 2013. Ms. Tung has served as corporate controller of the Company and of Golden Dawn Minerals Inc. since 2009.

Golden Dawn Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: GOM) announced that Joao (John) da Costa has resigned as the CFO and a director of the Company effective August 20, 2013, for personal reasons. Rita Tung has been appointed as the CFO and a director of the Company effective August 21, 2013. Ms. Tung has served as corporate controller of Golden Dawn and Super Nova Minerals Corp. since 2009.

NGEx Resources Inc. (TSX: NGQ) announced the appointment of Chester See as Chief Financial Officer of the Company to succeed Wanda Lee. Ms. Lee is retiring from the Company and the Lundin Group of Companies after 25 years of dedicated service to pursue personal interests. Mr. See joins the Company from Lucara Diamond Corp., where he served as Financial Controller since 2011. During his career he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including three years at Western Coal Corp., where he served as Manager, Financial Reporting & Treasury at the time of its acquisition by Walter Energy Ltd. in 2011. Prior to his involvement in the mining industry, Mr. See spent 3 years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) working with a diverse client base both in Canada and internationally

Canuc Resources Corporation (TSX-V: CDA) announced the appointment of James Macintosh as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Macintosh spent ten years as the President and COO of Innovium Media Properties Corp., an early stage investor. Mr. Macintosh sits on the Board of Directors and Chairs the Audit Committees of Carlisle Goldfields Limited (TSX: CGJ), GTA Resources and Mining Inc. (TSX-V: GTA) Parkside Resources Corporation (TSX-V: PKS) and Asia Now Resources Corp. (TSX-V: NOW). Mr. Macintosh replaces Chris Chadder as CFO,.

Thalmic Labs hired former Blackberry Senior Vice President Mike Galbraith as Chief Financial Officer.

Rainmaker Entertainment Inc. announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Shawn Turkington, has tendered his resignation to assume a corporate position in the music industry. Effective September 5, 2013 a former Chief Financial Officer of the Company, Bryant Pike, will return to assume the role of Chief Financial Officer and the newly created position of Senior Vice President Corporate.

Stornoway Diamond Corporation (TSX: SWY) announced the appointment of Hume Kyle to the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Kyle is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Dundee Precious Metals Inc. Prior to joining Dundee Precious Metals in June 2011, Mr. Kyle held increasingly senior financial executive positions in a number of large, publicly traded, multinational energy and natural resource businesses, including TransAlta Corporation, Fort Chicago Energy Partners L.P., Nexfor Inc., and Noranda Inc.

Galena International Resources (TSX-V: GTO) announced that Susan Neale has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company to replace J. Christopher Mitchell who recently retired.

MEG Energy Corp. (TSX: MEG) announced the appointment of Eric Toews to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Toews joins MEG Energy from BMO Capital Markets where for the past eight years he has held the position of Managing Director.

Nevada Sunrise Gold Corporation (TSX-V: NEV) announces that Michael Tomczak has advised the Company that he will step down as Chief Financial Officer at the end of August, 2013, for personal reasons.

CFO Moves Canada– week ending August 2, 2013

Advantage Oil & Gas Ltd. (TSX: AAV) announced that Kelly Drader has resigned as Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Corporation to focus on his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of Longview Oil Corp. Advantage currently holds approximately 45% of the common shares of Longview. Craig Blackwood, the current Vice-President, Finance of the Corporation, will assume the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer.

Taseko Mines Limited (TSX: TKO) announced the appointment of Stuart McDonald as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective September 1, 2013. Mr. McDonald served as the CFO of Quadra FNX Mining from 2007 to 2010. More recently, Mr. McDonald was the CFO of a privately-owned zinc mining company.

Champion Bear Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: CBA) announced the appointment of Audrey Och as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Och is an independent consultant and has over 30 years experience in providing companies, including Champion Bear, with financial and record keeping consulting services.

Asia Now Resources Corp. (TSX-V: NOW) announced the appointment of Julio DiGirolamo as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. DiGirolamo has over 18 years of senior-level public company experience including five years with Greenstone Resources Ltd. Mr. DiGirolamo has been the CFO and Corporate Secretary of Innovium Media Properties Corp., during which period he also acted as interim CFO at Seed Media Group LLC and as CFO of Atlantis Systems Corp. Mr. DiGirolamo is also currently CFO of Carlisle Goldfields Limited. Mr. DiGirolamo replaces Gaetan Chabot as CFO.

Seair Inc. (TSX-V: SDS) announced that it has appointed Jim Laird as Chief Financial Officer to replace the outgoing Greg Marr. Greg Marr will remain with Seair to oversee operations. Jim was formerly the CFO for Bedlam Games Inc. between 2007 and 2011. Jim was V.P. Investments at Covington Capital between 2001 and 2007.

DGM Minerals Corp. (TSX-V: DGM) announced that Doug Smith has resigned his appointment as a director and as Chief Financial Officer of the Company due to personal reasons. The company announced that Clarke Nakamoto as its new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Nakamoto has also been appointed to the Board. Mr. Nakamoto is the current Controller and Vice President of Operations at MAC Marketing Solutions Inc.
