Ceridian [TORONTO] announced that Arthur Gitajn will join its management team as CFO, replacing Lois Martin. Mr. Gitajn has been CFO for multiple companies including, SAP Canada, SAP EMEA, Workbrain and Intentia. Since 2007, Mr. Gitajn has played several key roles at SAP, including CFO of Europe, Middle East & Africa and Canada.
Empire Life Insurance Company [KINGSTON, ONTARIO] (TSX: EML.PR.A) announced the appointment of Ron Friesen, as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Friesen takes over from Scott Ewert, Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of E-L Financial Corporation Limited, who assumed the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer for Empire Life on an interim basis following the retirement of Gary McCabe earlier this year.
Cordy Oil Field Services Inc. [CALGARY] (TSX-V: CKK) announced the hiring of Luke Caplette as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Caplette’s career began at a major international accounting firm before continuing into the oilfield services industry. He has been part of Cordy for the last two and a half years serving most recently as Corporate Controller.
Noble Energy Partners [TORONTO] announced that Jean-Paul Adourian will serve as NEP’s Chief Financial Officer for its Strategic Pipeline Income Fund I. Mr. Adourian was most recently employed by ConocoPhillips in Houston, Texas before moving on to Nabors International where he managed the PriceWaterhouseCoopers audit for Nabors Offshore Americas (NOA) and its six entities – Congo, Italy, Netherlands, Madeira, Mexico, and Luxembourg. Mr. Adourian was also employed by Chevron Oil Corporation in Houston, Texas as an auditor.
