Zaoui & Co – M&A internship (Italian speaker) – Jan 2026 – London

Zaoui & Co. is offering a top-tier Italian-speaking candidate the opportunity to join the company for a 6-month paid internship starting in September 2025. The position will be based in Mayfair, London. The candidate may be given the opportunity to join the team on a full-time basis following the completion of the internship.

Zaoui & Co. was established in 2013 by Michael Zaoui (former Co-Head of European Mergers and Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley) and Yoël Zaoui (former Co-Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions at Goldman Sachs).

Since inception, the team has advised clients on transactions worth a total of over $280bn, including Lafarge’s merger with Holcim, GlaxoSmithKline’s series of major transactions with Novartis, Alcatel-Lucent’s merger with Nokia, the merger of PSA and Fiat Chrysler, Elis’ acquisition of Berendsen, the acquisition of 30% of Supermarkets Italiani (Esselunga Group) by its majority shareholders, the sale of The Travel Corporation to Apollo, AXA’s sale of AXA IM to BNP, the merger of Generali Investments Holding and Natixis Investment Managers.

Description:

• You will join a team of experienced professionals (ex-Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse) with the opportunity to work directly with and learn from the Zaoui brothers
• You will gain exposure to a wide range of industries and situations by helping the team execute its mandates (valuation, preparation of client presentations, research, etc.)
• You will be part of a flexible structure in which we want you to take on as much responsibility as possible
• Each year the most exceptional interns are offered the opportunity join us as permanent employees

Criteria:

• The role is open to students with at least a 2.1 in an aligned subject (UK equivalent)
• Must be fluent in English and Italian
• Excellent knowledge of corporate finance
• Numerical ability
• Communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity
• Ability to work autonomously
