Gartner, Inc. has revealed its top predictions for IT organisations and users for 2012 and beyond. Analysts said that the predictions herald changes in control for IT organisations as budgets, technologies and costs become more fluid and distributed.

With cloud and mobile technologies driving technological change, and China emerging as a true rival to the US, the findings indicate that the landscape for technology innovation is as fast-changing as the technologies themselves.
