Ravenflow takes flight in the cloud

"Even as tools like Microsoft Visio and SmartDraw get easier to use, many business users are not visual thinkers and therefore struggle to create business process diagrams for process improvement or application projects," said Susan Boers, president and CEO of Ravenflow. "RAVEN Cloud improves a tedious and error-prone process from taking hours or days to mere minutes. Now all business people can get stunning process flow diagrams without having to become drawing experts because RAVEN does the drawing for them."
Ravenflow is really flipping the traditional process modeling paradigm where processes can only be drawn using drag-and-drop methods," said Tom Dwyer, VP of research for BrainStorm Group and the editorial director of BPMInstitute.org. "RAVEN Cloud makes modeling process flows and work procedures more accessible to a broader range of business users."
RAVEN Cloud is hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform and features a highly attractive, easy-to-use web application interface based on Microsoft Silverlight.
"RAVEN Cloud offers business users a rich interactive experience, while also delivering the process diagram artifacts that they really need," said Brad Becker, director of Rich Client Platforms and Tools at Microsoft Corp. "By using both Azure and Silverlight, Ravenflow can offer this new process modeling capability to people everywhere using nothing more than a web browser."
Based upon a patented language engine, RAVEN Cloud is the only natural language application that allows business people to describe their processes in plain English, and then automatically identify gaps and other errors while generating visual diagrams all stakeholders can understand.
The beta is free and available to everyone now at ravencloud.com.
