We are recruiting a Financial Controller (Venture Capital) to join the Financial Department based in Paris. The selected candidate will support the team in day-to-day operations, including:

Financial operations management

Administration of funds and investment vehicles

Valuation of portfolio companies
Main Tasks
Funds Monitoring and Reporting
-
Monitor fund cash positions and movements
-
Process and upload Private Equity fund transactions into internal tools such as iLevel (new investments, divestments, follow-ons, company valuations) and Merlin (cash reconciliation, capital calls, distributions)

Assist in the preparation of quarterly investor reports in English
Valuation and Performance Analysis

Support the quarterly valuation process for unlisted portfolio companies in accordance with IPEV guidelines

Calculate key fund performance indicators (KPIs)

Conduct valuation benchmarks

Perform backtesting analyses between exits and prior valuations
Financial and Administrative Portfolio Monitoring

Collect financial data and KPIs from portfolio companies on a regular basis

Perform gap analyses between audited financial statements and management estimates, in coordination with the investment team and portfolio company CFOs

Monitor and analyze capitalization tables of portfolio companies
Investor Relations and Support

Contribute to investor due diligence processes and respond to investor queries
Profile Sought
You are looking to evolve in a dynamic and challenging environment, working in direct contact with start-up founders and investors.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a Private Equity or Asset Management company

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management (Business School, DCG, Master CCA, DSCG, or equivalent university program)

Strong command of Excel and financial modeling tools

Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken)

Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive attitude
