BlackFin is seeking a motivated intern to join our ESG team in Paris. This 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to dive into the world of sustainable finance and responsible investing within the private equity sector.

Company Overview
BlackFin is a leading private equity fund dedicated to financial services companies in Europe, managing nearly €3.8 Bn in assets. With 3 Buyout Funds and 2 Venture Capital funds, we focus on helping companies grow by taking either majority or influential minority positions, making investments ranging from €20 to €60 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in collecting ESG and climate data from portfolio companies.
- Contribute to the formalization of annual ESG reports.
- Assist in preparing responses to ad-hoc ESG questionnaires for investors.
- Support regulatory compliance efforts related to sustainable finance (Article 29, SFDR, Taxonomy, etc.).
- Contribute to ongoing ESG-related projects, including carbon footprint calculations and diversity initiatives.
Requirements:
- Master’s student (business school, IEP, or university) with a specialization in financial markets.
- Ideally enrolled in a sustainable finance course.
- Strong interest in ESG and sustainability in finance.
- Knowledge of the finance sector, especially private equity.
- Fluent in English and French.
