Whirlpool Corporation [BENTON HARBOR, Mich.] (NYSE: WHR) announced that Larry Venturelli, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer plans to retire from the company. As part of the planned transition, Jim Peters, currently vice president, corporate controller, and chief accounting officer, will succeed Venturelli as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Whirlpool Corporation. Jim Peters was appointed vice president, corporate controller, and chief accounting officer in early 2015 previously having served Vice President, CFO of Whirlpool Corporation’s North American Region since 2010. Peters joined Whirlpool in 2004, holding director positions in various departments until he was appointed as vice president and CFO of Whirlpool EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region in 2008. Prior to joining the company, he was a Manager of Internal Audit for Limited Brands and a Consulting Manager at Ernst & Young.

Taro Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. [HAWTHORNE, N.Y.] (NYSE: TARO) announced that it has accepted the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer, Michael Kalb. Mr. Kalb has been with the company for 7 years.

DataXu [BOSTON, MA.] announced the appointment of Chris Sullivan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Sullivan joins DataXu from ecommerce company Gazelle, where he started as CFO before progressing to CEO. Prior to his tenure at Gazelle, Sullivan held CFO positions at Fidelity, Pegasystems and Event Zero, as well as senior executive roles at Fisher Scientific and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).

Net Element, Inc. [MIAMI, FL] (NASDAQ: NETE) announced that Roman Shakirov has been appointed the Chief Financial Officer of Net Element Russia and emerging markets. Prior to joining Net Element, Mr. Shakirov held senior positions at several leading multinational companies, including: Cherkizovo Group, Gallery Group; Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton.

Spruce Finance Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] has hired Darren Thompson as chief financial officer. Most recently, Thompson served as CFO and executive vice president of strategy at B2R Finance. Previously, he was the CFO at RevolutionMoney. Thompson also served as the senior vice president and head of Fannie Mae’s Credit Finance Business. Prior to Fannie, he was a managing director at Goldman Sachs and a principal at Morgan Stanley.

Franklin Financial Network, Inc. [FRANKLIN, Tenn.] (NYSE: FSB), announced the appointments of Sarah Meyerrose as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Sally Kimble, who has served as EVP, CFO and Chief Administrative Officer since joining the Company in 2012, continues her role as EVP and CAO. Prior to joining the Company, Meyerrose was the President, CEO for Civic Bank & Trust, which she joined in October 2014. From 2009 until joining Civic, Meyerrose was President of Sarah Meyerrose Strategic Solutions LLC. Previously she was with First Horizon National Corporation, the parent of First Tennessee Bank, which she joined in 1982. Among her senior or executive management roles at First Horizon were five years as Senior Vice President, CFO for the Retail and Commercial Bank; five years as President of the Northeast Tennessee regional bank; and eight years as EVP, Chief Operating and Administrative Officer.

CSI Compressco LP [MIDLAND, Texas] (NASDAQ: CCLP) announced the appointment of Derek C. Coffie as Chief Financial Officer of CSI Compressco. Mr. Coffie succeeds Elijio V. Serrano, who has served as the Partnership’s interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Serrano, who will continue as Senior Vice President and CFO of TETRA Technologies, Inc. Mr. Coffie joins CSI Compressco from United Holdings, where he served as Vice President Finance and Controller since 2015. From 2008 to 2014, Mr. Coffie served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lennox International’s Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration division. From 2002 to 2008, he served as controller for Johnson Outdoors. Earlier roles include finance director of Steelcase Inc., director of finance of Johnson Controls Inc., and group controller of Illinois Tool Works. Mr. Coffie began his career at Monsanto.

NBTY, Inc. [RONKONKOMA, N.Y.] announced that it has appointed Stephen J. Conboy as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company. Formerly Chief Financial Officer for the NBTY Consumer Products Group Americas business, Steve joined NBTY in June 2015. Prior to joining NBTY, Mr. Conboy was with Colgate-Palmolive Company where he served as Vice President, Finance North America Division. He also gained CFO experience leading Colgate’s African/Middle East business and additional key regions prior to the North America role. Mr. Conboy began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers after graduating from Washington and Lee University.

Soligenix, Inc. [PRINCETON, N.J.] (OTCQB: SNGX) announced that it has appointed Karen Krumeich, as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Ms. Krumeich served as a consultant providing finance services to the Company and other healthcare companies. Previously, she worked as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for several development-stage life science companies, including Cerecor, Inc. and Mela Sciences, Inc. In addition to these positions, Ms. Krumeich was a healthcare consultant partner with Tatum, LLC, a national consulting firm, specializing in their life science practice. Prior to these positions, she held positions of increasing responsibility with several healthcare companies, including Bristol-Myers Squibb Company where she was Director of Health Systems and as Vice President of Finance for a national pharmacy provider. Ms. Krumeich began her career as a pharmacist and transitioned into finance after successfully completing the CPA exam.

Enova International [CHICAGO] (NYSE: ENVA) announced that Steve Cunningham is joining the leading financial technology company as Chief Financial Officer. He will succeed Rob Clifton. Steve most recently served as Discover’s Chief Risk Officer. He joined Discover as its Corporate Treasurer in 2010. Prior to Discover, Cunningham was the CFO of Harley-Davidson Financial Services, and spent eight years at Capital One Financial in various positions, including CFO for the Auto Finance segment, and CFO for the company’s banking segment. Cunningham also has experience as a bank regulator with the FDIC.

Air Lease Corporation [LOS ANGELES] (NYSE: AL) announced that has promoted Gregory Willis to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Willis joined ALC in March 2010 as its Vice President Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. In February 2012, he became its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Cumulus Media Inc. [ATLANTA, GA] (NASDAQ: CMLS) announced the appointment of John F. Abbot as Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. Abbot succeeds Joseph P. (“J.P.”) Hannan, who resigned his position after six years in order to pursue other interests. Abbot most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Telx Holdings Inc. Prior to his service at Telx, Abbot was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Insight Communications Company, Inc. He worked as CFO at Insight for eight years. During the prior nine years, he worked in the Global Media and Communications Group of the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley, where he was a Managing Director. Abbot began his career as an associate at Goldman, Sachs & Co., and also served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy.

Intelligent Systems Corporation (NYSE: INS) announced that Bonnie L. Herron has decided to step down as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. Herron, who joined the company almost thirty-four years ago and has been CFO since 1999. The Intelligent Systems’ board of directors has elected Karen J. Reynolds to succeed Herron as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining CoreCard, she was President and CFO of zBOOST, from 2008 until 2015, and has held senior management roles at a number of other technology and services companies over her 25+ year career.

The Joint Corp. [SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.] (NASDAQ: JYNT) announced the resignation of Francis T. Joyce from employment with the company as its Chief Financial Officer.

Capital Square 1031, LLC [RICHMOND, Va.] announced that Richard Stanard has joined the firm as chief financial officer. Stanard joins Capital Square 1031 from HITT Contracting Inc., where he spent 13 years as chief financial officer and treasurer. Prior to HITT, Stanard served as vice president of financial services at The Robert Martin Company. Previously, Stanard was a treasurer with First Winthrop Corporation (FWC) in Boston. Prior to FWC, Stanard was the project controller and regional director at Urban Investment and Development in Boston.

EnerNOC, Inc. [BOSTON] (NASDAQ: ENOC) announced that William Sorenson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Sorenson will succeed Neil Moses, the Company’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, who plans to retire. Sorenson will join the Company in August. Sorenson most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Acquia. Prior to Acquia, Sorenson served as Chief Financial Officer of Qlik Technologies. Earlier in his career, Sorenson held senior leadership positions at News Corporation, EMI Music Publishing, Bertelsmann AG and Acclaim Entertainment.

PRA Group, Inc. [NORFOLK, Va.] (NASDAQ: PRAA) announced that Pete Graham will be joining the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Graham is a 14-year veteran of General Electric Company (GE), having served most recently as a finance executive on the GE Capital exit plan team. His previous positions within GE Capital include chief financial officer for GE Commercial Distribution Finance and GE Capital Markets. He also served as global controller for Treasury and Global Funding Operations and controller and manager of Financial Planning and Analysis for GE Asset Management. Prior to joining GE, Graham was with KPMG LLP for 10 years.

Energy Focus, Inc. [SOLON, Ohio] (NASDAQ: EFOI) announced that Marcia Miller, Chief Financial Officer since July 2015, will be leaving the company. The Company has started a national search for a permanent CFO and announced that Michael Port, the Company’s Controller, will serve as its interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Port joined Energy Focus in April 2015, as interim Controller through the consulting firm Resources Global Professionals. Prior to joining Resources Global Professionals, Mr. Port held various senior level executive positions at both private and public companies, including Mork Process, Inc., Oglebay Norton Company, a shipping and industrial minerals company, and Hitachi Medical Systems of America, a distributor of diagnostic imaging products. He began his career at Ernst & Young.

Immunomedics, Inc. [MORRIS PLAINS, N.J.] (NASDAQ: IMMU) announced the appointment of Michael R. Garone as Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Garone replaces Peter P. Pfreundschuh, who has resigned from the Company. Michael Garone. From 2007 to 2016, he was Chief Financial Officer for Emisphere. Before joining Emisphere, Mr. Garone served as interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Astralis, Ltd. Prior to that, he served 20 years at AT&T, where he held several positions including Chief Financial Officer of AT&T Alascom.
