Mr. Smith has served as a director of Splunk since 2011 and was previously the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Salesforce, where he held other senior executive positions beginning in 2007. Prior to Salesforce, he served as chief financial officer at Advent Software. He sits on the boards of MINDBODY, Inc. and Xero, Inc. Mr. Smith, will serve on the Compensation Committee.
Anworth Mortgage Asset Corporation [SANTA MONICA, Calif.] (NYSE: ANH) announced that Thad M. Brown, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary, will retire effective December 31, 2015. The Company also announced that Charles J. Siegel has been appointed by the board of directors of the Company to the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary, effective January 1, 2016. Mr. Siegel joined the Company in October 2004 and has served as Senior Vice President-Finance since January 2005 and also as Assistant Secretary since May 2005. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Siegel served as Chief Financial Officer with various mortgage originators for over 30 years. Mr. Siegel began his career with KPMG.
Alpha Pro Tech, Ltd. [NOGALES, AZ] (NYSE MKT: APT) announced that effective January 4, 2016, Lloyd Hoffman will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer and will also join the Company’s Board of Directors. Colleen McDonald will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hoffman, who currently serves as CFO, has been with the Company since 1991, two years after the Company was founded. Ms. McDonald, who currently serves as Corporate Controller, has served with the Company for 20 years.
Prime Meridian Holding Co. [TALLAHASSEE, FL] (OTCQX: PMHG) and Prime Meridian Bank have appointed R. Randy Guemple to serve as CFO and principal financial officer, effective Jan. 1, 2016, coinciding with the retirement of their current CFO, Kathleen C. Jones. Guemple is Executive Vice President of PMHG’s whollyowned subsidiary, Prime Meridian Bank, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company since 2010 and the Board of Directors of the Bank since 2007. He will continue to serve in those capacities. Guemple has worked closely with Jones since July, 2015, as part of the planned transition. Guemple was formerly Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer of First Bank of Florida in West Palm Beach, Florida where he also served on both the Bank and Holding Company Boards of Directors. HRG Group, Inc. [NEW YORK] appointed George C. Nicholson to the additional position of Acting Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Nicholson’s appointment as Acting Chief Financial Officer will be effective as of January 4, 2015. Prior to such appointment, Mr. Nicholson served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the Company.
LSB Industries, Inc. [OKLAHOMA CITY] (NYSE: LXU) announced that it has appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer Daniel D. Greenwell as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Greenwell has served as Interim Chief Executive Officer since September 2015. Mr. Greenwell has served as a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of a private equity investment and advisory firm since September 2014. Mr. Greenwell previously served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Sabre Industries Inc. from April 2013 until May 2014. From January 2012 until March 2013, Mr. Greenwell served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Tronox Limited. Prior to that, Mr. Greenwell served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Terra Industries, Inc., from 2005 until its acquisition by CF Industries Holdings, Inc. in April 2010. He also served on the Board of Directors of Terra Nitrogen Company, L.P., a Master Limited Partnership, from March 2008 until April 2010. Mr. Greenwell has held various executive leadership positions at a number of public companies, including Belden Inc., Zoltek Companies Inc., and Sigma Chemical Company.

Under Armour (NYSE: UA) [BALTIMORE] announced Chip Molloy as its new Chief Financial Officer, replacing Brad Dickerson. Mr. Molloy served as EVP and CFO for PetSmart from 2007 until 2013, where in 2011 he was named Institutional Investor’s CFO of the Year for Specialty Retail. Most recently he served as a Senior Advisor for Atlanta-based private equity firm Roark Capital Group since October 2014 and has served on a number of public company boards of directors.
Kelly Services (NASDAQ: KELYA, KELYB) [TROY, MI] announced the appointment of Olivier Thirot as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Thirot managed several key finance functions at Bacardi Ltd. and L. Raphael, where he served as chief financial officer. Prior to being named acting CFO of Kelly Services, he was senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer, responsible for the finance functions in Kelly’s EMEA and APAC regions. He joined the Company in 2008.

Schnaid, currently Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of Starwood, will be appointed Chief Financial Officer, replacing Thomas B. Mangas, who was promoted to CEO. Schnaid joined Starwood in 1994 and has been Starwood’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer since 2005. Prior to that, Schnaid was Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller since 1998 and Vice President and Controller since 1996. Prior to joining Starwood, Schnaid held accounting positions with Mazars and Company, Kenneth Leventhal and Company and Laventhol & Horwath.
Tuesday Morning Corporation (NASDAQ: TUES) [DALLAS, TX] announced that Stacie R. Shirley will join the Company as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Diageo [NORWALK, Conn] announced the appointment of Jakob Ripshtein as Chief Financial Officer for Diageo North America, replacing Greg Kryder. Ripshtein began his career with Diageo in 2008 as VP Finance for Canada. In 2010, he moved to London to take on a role as Global Pricing Director for several years before returning to North America as SVP of Finance for Open States. Ripshtein has been President of Diageo Canada since 2014.

Mr. Weibling, a member of Sotheby’s Board of Directors since 2006, and the current Chair of the Board’s Audit Committee, succeeds Patrick S. McClymont, who has been Sotheby’s Chief Financial Officer since October 2013. Mr. Weibling has served as the Managing Director of Rally Capital, LLC, since 2004. He served as a board member and Chairman of Telesphere Networks Ltd from 2006 to 2014. From October 1993 to December 2001, Mr. Weibling served as President of Eagle River, Inc. and then as Vice Chairman of Eagle River Investments until November 2003. Mr. Greenwell has served as a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of a private equity investment and advisory firm since September 2014. Mr. Greenwell previously served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Sabre Industries Inc. from April 2013 until May 2014. From January 2012 until March 2013, Mr. Greenwell served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Tronox Limited. Prior to that, Mr. Greenwell served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Terra Industries, Inc., from 2005 until its acquisition by CF Industries Holdings, Inc. in April 2010. He also served on the Board of Directors of Terra Nitrogen Company, L.P., a Master Limited Partnership, from March 2008 until April 2010. Mr. Greenwell has held various executive leadership positions at a number of public companies, including Belden Inc., Zoltek Companies Inc., and Sigma Chemical Company.

Under Armour (NYSE: UA) [BALTIMORE] announced Chip Molloy as its new Chief Financial Officer, replacing Brad Dickerson. Mr. Molloy served as EVP and CFO for PetSmart from 2007 until 2013, where in 2011 he was named Institutional Investor’s CFO of the Year for Specialty Retail. Most recently he served as a Senior Advisor for Atlanta-based private equity firm Roark Capital Group since October 2014 and has served on a number of public company boards of directors.
Kelly Services (NASDAQ: KELYA, KELYB) [TROY, MI] announced the appointment of Olivier Thirot as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Thirot managed several key finance functions at Bacardi Ltd. and L. Raphael, where he served as chief financial officer. Prior to being named acting CFO of Kelly Services, he was senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer, responsible for the finance functions in Kelly’s EMEA and APAC regions. He joined the Company in 2008.
KaloBios Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [South San Francisco, CA] confirmed that Christopher Thorn, the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer announced his resignation. The Company is conducting a nationwide search to fill the CFO position.
The Boston Beer Company, Inc. (NYSE: SAM) [BOSTON, MA] announced that Frank H. Smalla will be joining the Company as Senior Vice President, Finance, replacing William F. Urich. Before joining the company, Mr. Smalla had been Senior Vice President, Finance for Kraft Food Groups, Inc. of Northfield, Illinois since 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Smalla held a number of senior financial positions at Kraft from 1995-2012, including as Vice President of Finance from 2010-2012.
Pharm-Olam International Ltd. [HOUSTON] announced the promotion of Natalie Gassen to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Natalie started with Pharm-Olam as the Director of Global Finance and Accounting. Prior to coming to Pharm-Olam, Natalie was the Chief Financial Officer for ApoCell Inc.
Ameriflight, LLC [DALLAS] announced the appointment of David W. Moore as Chief Financial Officer replacing David DeRose. Mr. Moore comes to Ameriflight from Loomis US, where over the past seven years he has held various District and Regional Controller positions. Prior to Loomis, David was CFO of Alliance Systems, LTD. where he served as Vice President of Finance and Controller.
Innovatient Solutions, Inc. [HARTFORD, Conn.] has named Henry Schaffer as chief financial officer. Schaffer was recently executive vice president and CFO for InSite One, Inc. Before that, as a director with Oracle Corporation. He has also served as CFO of OutlookSoft, FitLinxx, The Custom Foot, Exxon and Compaq Computer Corporation.
TierPoint [ST. LOUIS] announced that Mary Meduski was promoted to President and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Meduski was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Suddenlink Communications, recently acquired by the Altice Group. Prior to that she worked at AAT Communications, starting in 2003.
Signostics [KIRKLAND, Wash] announced the appointment of Jeffrey Markwood to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President of Administration. In 2009 Mr. Markwood became the Senior Director of Corporate Planning & Finance at Sonosite. Prior to SonoSite, Mr. Markwood spent 9 years at AT&T Wireless as Director of Financial Planning & Development. Mr. Markwood later joined Cyrk, where he spent five years as Controller overseeing the company’s international operations.
Benefitfocus, Inc. (NASDAQ: BNFT) [Charleston, S.C.] announced that Milt Alpern, its Chief Financial Officer, retiring. Mr. Alpern joined Benefitfocus in 2012 from ITA Software, Inc. where he managed the successful sale of the company to Google in 2011.
Scientific Drilling International [HOUSTON] announced Dana Armstrong as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to SDI, Dana was employed at Ion Geophysical Corporation since 2007, most recently serving as VP & Global Treasurer. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) [STAMFORD, Conn] announced that Alan M. Schnaid, currently Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of Starwood, will be appointed Chief Financial Officer, replacing Thomas B. Mangas, who was promoted to CEO. Schnaid joined Starwood in 1994 and has been Starwood’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer since 2005. Prior to that, Schnaid was Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller since 1998 and Vice President and Controller since 1996. Prior to joining Starwood, Schnaid held accounting positions with Mazars and Company, Kenneth Leventhal and Company and Laventhol & Horwath.
Tuesday Morning Corporation (NASDAQ: TUES) [DALLAS, TX] announced that Stacie R. Shirley will join the Company as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining Neiman Marcus Group, Ms. Shirley served in areas of increasing responsibility at CompUSA, Inc., including Vice President – Finance and Treasurer (1999-2001), Senior Director – Financial Initiatives (1998-1999), Director of Investor Relations (1996-1998), and Regional Accounting Manager (1993-1996).
Diageo [NORWALK, Conn] announced the appointment of Jakob Ripshtein as Chief Financial Officer for Diageo North America, replacing Greg Kryder. Ripshtein began his career with Diageo in 2008 as VP Finance for Canada. In 2010, he moved to London to take on a role as Global Pricing Director for several years before returning to North America as SVP of Finance for Open States. Ripshtein has been President of Diageo Canada since 2014.
Sotheby’s [NEW YORK] has named Dennis M. Weibling its Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Weibling, a member of Sotheby’s Board of Directors since 2006, and the current Chair of the Board’s Audit Committee, succeeds Patrick S. McClymont, who has been Sotheby’s Chief Financial Officer since October 2013. Mr. Weibling has served as the Managing Director of Rally Capital, LLC, since 2004. He served as a board member and Chairman of Telesphere Networks Ltd from 2006 to 2014. From October 1993 to December 2001, Mr. Weibling served as President of Eagle River, Inc. and then as Vice Chairman of Eagle River Investments until November 2003. Beginning in 1995, Mr. Weibling served as a director of Nextel Partners, Inc. and Nextel Communications, Inc.
Exact Sciences Corp. (NASDAQ: EXAS) [MADISON, Wis] announced the appointment of John K. Bakewell as chief financial officer. Most recently, he was CFO at Lantheus Holdings Inc. Jaguar Animal Health, Inc. (NASDAQ: JAGX) [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Karen Wright as chief financial officer, replacing John Kallassy, Jaguar’s former CFO, will continue to serve the Company as chief operating officer. Karen was most recently she was the head of finance for Clene Nanomedicine. She also served as vice president of finance and corporate controller at multiple other private and public companies, including Veracyte and Intermune, which was acquired by Roche.
Iconixx [AUSTIN, Texas] announced the appointment of William J. Getchell as Chief Financial Officer. He joins Iconixx after having spent several years as Chief Financial Officer at Motion Computing, Inc. and Phunware, Inc.
Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRNA) [CAMBRIDGE, Mass] announced the appointment of John “Jack” Green as interim chief financial officer (CFO). He replaces James Dentzer. Concurrently to serving as part-time, interim CFO at Dicerna, Mr. Green will continue in a part-time capacity as CFO of Verastem, Inc. (VSTM). Previously, he served for more than 15 years as CFO of GTC Biotherapeutics (formerly Genzyme Transgenics).
Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) [LAS VEGAS] announced the promotion of Michael Quartieri to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary, succeeding Scott Schweinfurth. Michael recently served nine years with Las Vegas Sands Corp., ending his tenure as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Global Controller. Previously, he had a 13-year tenure at Deloitte & Touche LLP, attaining the position of Director of Audit and Assurance Services.
5miles [DALLAS, TX] has named Garwin Chan as its chief financial officer. Chan previously was a managing director at Founder H Fund, in China. Before that, he was vice president of Bain Capital. Chan began his career as an investment professional at Sankaty Advisors.
Preston Hollow Capital [DALLAS] announced that it has hired Paige Deskin as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Deskin replaces the retiring Mike Cousins. Before joining PHC, Ms. Deskin was Vice President – Finance with SWK Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SWKH). Prior to joining SWK Holdings Corporation, she was Controller of ORIX USA Corporation for eight years. Before entering the private sector, Ms. Deskin was a manager in KPMG’s audit practice.
Production Resource Group LLC [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Ryan Schroeter as its Chief Financial Officer, replacing Scott Hansen, who had previously served as both Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Asset Strategy, will now focus on the asset side of PRG’s business. Five Star Quality Care, Inc. (NYSE: FVE) [NEWTON, Mass] announced the appointment of Richard A. Doyle, Jr. as its Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, replacing Paul V. Hoagland. Mr. Doyle has served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Senior Housing Properties Trust (NYSE: SNH) since 2007. He was previously the Director of Financial Reporting for Five Star beginning in 2005. Prior to that, he was employed by Sun Life Financial in positions involving finance and accounting for 10 years.
eFFECTOR Therapeutics, Inc., [SAN DIEGO] announced that Alana McNulty will be its full-time chief financial officer. Prior to eFFECTOR, Ms. McNulty served as CFO at Lumena Pharmaceuticals, acquired by Shire in 2014, and Excaliard Pharmaceuticals, acquired by Pfizer in 2011. Alacare Home Health & Hospice [BIRMINGHAM, Ala.] has named Corrie Hall as its new Chief Financial Officer. Hall assumes the responsibility as Gene Sykes retires after more than 20 years with Alacare. Before Hall came to Alacare in November 2014, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Kare-In-Home Health in Gulfport, Mississippi, for 10 years and worked at Hattiesburg’s South Mississippi Home Health for 27 years, ultimately becoming a Vice President in Finance.
Femasys Inc. [ATLANTA] announced the appointment of Todd A. Creech as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Creech previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of ZS Pharma, Inc., from August 2013 until June 2015. Prior to ZS Pharma, Mr. Creech was CFO and Vice President of Business Development at SARcode Bioscience. Prior to SARcode, Mr. Creech was CFO of Sirion Therapeutics. West most recently served as CEO of Education Management. West joined Education Management in 2006 as chief financial officer and became CEO in 2012. Prior to his time there, West joined Internet Capital Group as chief financial officer in 2000.
