UK | CFO Moves – week ending 6 December 2013

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) [LON:IHG] announced that Tom Singer will step down from the Board and his role as Chief Financial Officer on 1 January 2014. He will be succeeded by Paul Edgecliffe-Johnson, who joined IHG in August 2004 and has held a number of senior positions, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of IHG’s Europe and Asia, Middle East & Africa regions. Paul will take up his new position and become a member of IHG’s Board and Executive Committee on 1 January 2014. Paul is currently Chief Financial Officer of IHG’s Europe and Asia, Middle East & Africa regions, a position he has held since September 2011. He is a member of the Regional Operating Committees in both regions. He joined IHG in August 2004 and has since held a number of senior level finance positions including Head of Investor Relations, Head of Global Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Tax and Chief Financial Officer, Europe, Middle East & Africa and Head of Hotel Development, Europe. He also acted as Interim CEO of Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Oxford Immunotec Global PLC (NASDAQ: OXFD) announced that Herman (“Herm”) Rosenman has been appointed as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors and will serve as Chairman of the Board’s Audit Committee. Mr. Rosenman served most recently as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Gen-Probe Incorporated, a publicly traded molecular diagnostics company, which was acquired by Hologic, Inc. in 2012. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chairman of Vivus, Inc., Medistem, Inc., and BioFire Diagnostics, Inc.Ben Gujral

Harkand Group announced the appointment of Ben Gujral as the group’s new chief financial officer. He was previously CFO at Mood Media Corporation. He also held the group CFO position at Transcom Worldwide and DCS Group PLC.

Tethys Petroleum Limited (LSE: TPL) announced that Bernard Murphy, Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director, has notified the Board of his intention to retire at the end of January 2014 after 7 years with the Company. He will be replaced by Denise Lay, currently Deputy Chief Financial Officer, who has been with the Company since 2009. Denise worked for KPMG and several international companies, including Chevron Corporation, the Gallaher Group PLC, Ricoh Company Ltd.

Superglass Holdings PLC confirms that the previously announced appointment of Christopher Paul Lea as Finance Director and that Allan Clow has now left his position with the Company. Previously Chris was Chief Financial Officer of Aviagen Europe, the world’s largest poultry breeding company.

ServicePower Technologies Plc (AIM: SVR) announced the appointment of Tajinder Sandhu as Group Finance Director. Mr. Sandhu joins ServicePower from NCC Education, where he was the Finance Director with duties spanning the UK, Malaysia, South Africa and China. Mr. Sandhu is also a consultant for the Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Oxford, a position he has held since 2010. Since qualifying as a chartered accountant at BDO in 1994, Mr Sandhu has held several roles within the finance function of various organisations. From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Sandhu was Senior International Finance and Operations Director and International Director of Tax and Accounting for Wolters Kluwer.

Brady plc announced that Martin Thorneycroft will join the Brady as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary with effect from 2 January 2014. He will also become a Director of the Company. This follows the announcement on 9 September 2013 of Tony Ratcliffe‘s intention to leave the Group and will allow an orderly transition of responsibilities. Martin was previously Finance Director of AIM quoted Patsytems plc for approximately eight years until February 2013 and is a former Finance Director of Profile Media Group plc and McMullen & Sons.
