ELON MUSK’S REFLIGHT SPACEX ROCKET WILL TRANSPORT NEXUS INC.’S PROPRIETARY BLOCKCHAIN SOFTWARE PAYLOAD AND DOCK AT A MODULAR SPACE STATION

Nexus Inc. (“Nexus”), a technology-enabling and innovative blockchain- and IoT-centred solutions provider for online commercial platforms and institutions, is set to announce the world’s first, and novelty, technology software installation in space this week. Elon Musk’s reflight SpaceX rocket will transport Nexus Inc.’s proprietary blockchain software payload and dock at a modular space station. With the impending installation, Nexus will then be able to provide its corporate clients with best-in-class solutions against would-be digital fraud.

Says Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nexus Inc. John Pollock: “We have been actively focusing on developing solutions on the back of blockchain intelligence and agility since 2016. Currently, Nexus boasts of an international clientele vertical that includes Singapore digital asset trading platform CoinW.ai/CoinW.pw, Australia’s liquidity provider Fantastech, China’s financial service provider Hyper ProXimity (HPX), just to name a few. With the rocket launch in a couple of weeks’ time, I expect Nexus to take on a far more aggressive growth path as we extend our revenue streams.”

LEADERSHIP

John Pollock, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Nexus Inc.
John Pollock is the founder and chief executive officer of Nexus Inc. (“Nexus”). John, an American citizen age 50, is recognized as a pioneer in the blockchain and space industries. He holds a PhD in Digital Telecommunication from Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. John kicked off his career by working for an American blockchain company as part of its huge sales team in 2010. His quick wit and charismatic personality earned him a well-respected position in the company. By 2012, John decided to try his hand at entrepreneurship in the blockchain sector. In the ensuing years, John co-founded several companies including Block Chained and Digital Ventures, where he held the position of Head of Marketing. In 2016, John delegated his blockchain duties to his trusted team and pursued a new career path in the space industry; whilst never losing touch with the blockchain community. As of 2020, John is currently overseeing two applications for blockchain in space: That being, a global distribution network that is persistent and sovereignty-agnostic. The second, to utilise blockchain to bring edge-computing processing to space. He has been sought after as a vaunted speaker at events like Space Tech Summit, SpaceTide and Space Forum. He is now responsible for planning, control, capital structure and investor relations of Nexus. He divides his time between London, Melbourne and Singapore.

Jeffrey Joe, Co-founder and Chief Operation Officer, Nexus Inc.
Jeffrey Joe, is the co-founder and chief operating officer of Nexus Inc. (“Nexus”). Jeffrey, an Australian citizen age 38, is a veteran in the development of satellite and cloud services. He holds a PhD in engineering from the University of Warwick. He began working for a satellite company called Interspace in 2012 as a junior engineer for 3 years before moving on to senior engineer in Space Nine where he was in charge of managing the satellite and oversaw the company’s cloud server. Jeffrey is a firm advocate of satellite technologies enabling a new era of seamless global collaboration. The only thing that keeps Jeffrey up at night is not hackers breaking into data that is being transacted across a satellite, but hackers taking control of satellites. He currently leads a team focused on the provision of satellite connectivity and business solutions to land-based businesses.

Louis Jones, Chief Technology Officer, Nexus Inc.
Louis Jones, age 35, is the Chief Technology Officer of Nexus Inc. (“Nexus”) since December 2016. Louis honed his space expertise at the Global Space University in London; having worked in numerous space companies across IT and engineering. In just three years, Louis was promoted to head of IT, and Senior Engineer roles in Galaxy Skies. In 2014, Louis launched two blockchain-enabled satellites into orbit. He agrees, noting that missions to the moon and particularly Mars, will require crews to make decisions “inside the human loop” because of transmission time delays between crews near or on Mars, and resources back on Earth. Edge computing, Louis’s specialty area, enabled by blockchain and artificial intelligence, will play critical roles in the coming future. Louis is currently involved in technology development as part of Nexus’s growth strategy.
