CFO Moves this week include:


AlphaPoint Technology, Inc. (OBB: APPO) announced the appointment of Geoff Bicknell as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Bicknell is a non executive director of DouglasBay Capital Plc where he was formerly Chief Financial Officer from February 2009 until September 2011. From September 2011 to December 2011 he was also Chief Financial Officer of Savtira Corp. Prior to joining DouglasBay, Mr. Bicknell was interim Finance Director of Ricardo Plc and Anite Plc. He was also non-executive director of Brady Plc, Trafficmaster Plc and Acta Spa. Mr. Bicknell has held executive directorships in companies including Rockwell International, TI Group Plc, Lucas Industries, Maxima Holdings Plc and Northgate Information Solutions Plc.

Omnicare, Inc. (NYSE: OCR) announced the appointment of President and CFO John L. Workman as interim CEO, effective immediately. Mr. Workman’s appointment follows the Board’s acceptance of John Figueroa‘s resignation as CEO and a director of the Company. Mr. Workman will also maintain his current responsibilities as President and CFO. Mr. Workman has served as Chief Financial Officer since November 2009 and was appointed President in February 2011. From 2004 to 2009, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of HealthSouth Corporation. Prior to joining HealthSouth, Mr. Workman served as Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Can Corporation where he also served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer during his six year tenure. Before that, he spent more than 14 years with Montgomery Ward & Company, Inc., serving in various capacities, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer.

Swisher Hygiene Inc. (NASDAQ: SWSH) announced that it has appointed Brian Krass as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Swisher Hygiene, he served as Vice President, Global CFO and Corporate Treasurer from 2009 to 2011 for ACN Inc. Before becoming Global CFO, Mr. Krass also held positions at ACN from 2008 to 2009 as Vice President of North America Finance and Global Director of Internal Audit. Prior to ACN, Mr. Krass spent six years at Metaldyne Corporation from 2003 to 2008. Prior to 2003, he held finance and accounting positions at GKN Sinter Metals, Guardian Industries Corporation, Dana Corporation and General Motors.

EnergySolutions (NYSE: ES) announced that it has appointed Greg Wood as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Wood succeeds William R. Benz. Since 2007, Mr. Lockwood has been a partner of ValueAct Capital. Prior to that, Mr. Lockwood was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Liberate Technologies from 2003 to 2006. Mr. Wood joins EnergySolutions from Actian Corporation. Mr. Wood currently serves as a director of Steinway Musical Instruments, Inc. Prior to joining Actian, Mr. Wood held chief financial officer roles at numerous public and private companies, including Silicon Graphics, Liberate Technologies, and InterTrust Technologies.

First Potomac Realty Trust (NYSE: FPO) announced that Barry H. Bass, the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has notified the Company of his intention to resign on or before September 10, 2012. Mr. Bass will continue to serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and perform his current responsibilities through the effective date of his resignation, and will assist in the transition of those responsibilities to his successor. Mr. Bass has been with First Potomac since 2002, and was instrumental in the company’s growth from its Initial Public Offering in 2003 to its position today as a leading owner of office and industrial properties in the Greater Washington region.

Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: QTWW) announced that Bradley J. Timon has been appointed as the Company’s permanent Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Timon was appointed interim Chief Financial Officer on May 10, 2012.

Analysts International Corporation (AIC) (NASDAQ: ANLY) announced that it has appointed Lynn L. Blake as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Blake replaces William R. Wolff who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. For the past five years, Blake has served as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Entegris, Inc. Prior to that, Blake served as Corporate Controller at MTS Systems Corporation. She has also held a variety of senior financial and accounting positions at Carlson Companies, Gartner Institute, Cowles Media Corporation and Honeywell International, Inc.

Enecsys Limited announced the appointment of David L. White as chief financial officer. David White previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of NVIDIA Corporation. White also held executive-level posts at Sanmina-SCI Corporation, Candescent Technologies Corporation and Conner Peripherals (now merged with Seagate), among others.

Digagogo Ventures Corp. (PINKSHEETS: DOGO) announced that Brian Teed has been appointed the new Chief Financial Officer. Brian’s positions included Vice President of Finance for two large development and construction companies in British Columbia, Canada. After leaving industry in 1991, he started Teed & Company, a full-service accounting company.

Square has hired Sarah Friar to be the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Friar was most recently the Senior Vice President, Finance & Strategy, for enterprise cloud computing leader Salesforce.com. Before Salesforce.com, Friar spent over 10 years at Goldman Sachs in corporate finance, M&A and equity research, and ultimately as business leader for the GS Technology Research group. She previously worked for McKinsey in both London and South Africa.

Active Power, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACPW) announced the resignation of John Penver as chief financial officer and vice president of Finance. To ensure a smooth transition of duties, Mr. Penver will continue to serve in his role through Oct. 31, 2012.

SafeNet, Inc. announced that Chief Financial Officer Charles Neral has decided to leave the company to pursue another opportunity. The company also announced that Greg Repas, currently Chief Accounting Officer and a twenty five year finance veteran, will serve as interim Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining SafeNet in October 2010, he served as Vice President and Assistant Controller at Black & Decker.

SunGard announced that Charles Neral will be its new chief financial officer. Mr. Neral succeeds Robert Woods who has decided to leave SunGard to explore other interests. Most recently, Mr. Neral was chief financial officer of SafeNet from 2009 to 2012. Previously he served as vice president of finance for IBM’s worldwide software business. Prior to assuming his position of vice president of finance at IBM, Mr. Neral served in a variety of financial roles across IBM’s Sales, Server and Global Services organizations, including executive roles in Asia Pacific and at IBM corporate headquarters.James Brannen

FBL Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: FFG) announced that current Chief Financial Officer, James P. Brannen, has been named interim Chief Executive Officer to replace James E. Hohmann who will be stepping down effective June 30, 2012. Brannen joined FBL in 1991 and held various positions in the tax and accounting areas prior to being named to his current position in 2007. Prior to joining FBL, Brannen worked primarily on corporate tax matters for insurance companies for Ernst & Young. Brannen is also active in civic and industry organizations, previously serving as president of the board of directors of Children and Families of Iowa, and currently serving on the board of United Way of Central Iowa.

Adlucent announced the appointment of Angela Vasquez as Chief Financial Officer. Vasquez most recently served as CFO of Hospice Source. Vasquez previously served as Vice President of Finance and Worldwide Controller of McAfee, Inc. Prior to McAfee, Vasquez was Controller of Vignette Corporation. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and held international finance and accounting positions at Dell, Inc.

MakeMusic, Inc. (NASDAQ: MMUS) announced that Karen van Lith`s employment with MakeMusic will end and she will no longer serve as president, chief executive officer or a director. MakeMusic’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer, Karen VanDerBosch, will assume the CEO duties on an interim basis.

Credo Petroleum Corporation (NASDAQ: CRED) announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Alford B. Neely, has advised the Company that he plans to retire within sixty days. Mr. Neely joined Credo in 2006, and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2008. On the effective date of Mr. Neely’s retirement, Brian Mazeski, the Company’s Controller, will be promoted to Chief Accounting Officer. Brian has previously been employed as Controller by several public companies and, most recently, served as Principal Accounting Officer of a public company.

Laredo Petroleum Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: LPI) announced that its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, W. Mark Womble, has informed the Chairman of the Board of his intent to retire within the next 12 months.

Dial Global (NASDAQ: DIAL) announced that it has hired Jean Clifton as Dial Global’s new Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Ms. Clifton is a founder of Platinum Strategic Partners, LLC. From May 2008 to October 2010, Ms. Clifton served as EVP and Chief Financial Officer of Penton Media, Inc. and prior thereto was SVP and CFO of the Reader’s Digest Association. After Penton, she served as Interim CFO of Jones & Frank and as Interim CFO and Chief Administrative Officer of Olympus Media, both of which (in addition to Penton) are partially owned by MidOcean Partners. Continuing her relationship with MidOcean Partners, Ms. Clifton served as Interim CFO of each company. Prior to Readers Digest, Ms. Clifton spent 20 years at Journal Register Company in various capacities, including President and Chief Operating Officer (2005-06) and EVP, CFO and Treasurer from 1989 to 2005. Ms. Clifton has a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan. She is on the Board of Directors of Summit Business Media.

Irving Burton Associates (IBA) announced the promotion of Linh Ly to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ms. Ly has been with IBA for 8 years and previously served as Controller for IBA.

Rossmar & Graham, a subsidiary of FirstService Corporation (NASDAQ: FSRV) announced the appointment of Cliff Marsh as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Rossmar, Marsh held positions in public accounting, servicing a diversified mix of clients in auditing, tax and consulting engagements. He has also held CFO/senior financial positions for a publicly traded software company, a publicly traded real estate investment company and a Native American Tribe.

ENGlobal (NASDAQ: ENG) announced that John R. Beall, Chief Financial Officer, has resigned from the Company to pursue other interests. The CFO duties will be assumed by the Company’s Controller, Mark A. Hess, with oversight from Edward L. Pagano, President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining ENGlobal as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Pagano served as Chief Financial Officer for a number of public and private engineering and construction companies.

Codexis, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDXS) announced that Brian Dowd has resigned as interim Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Controller in order to accept a position at a private technology company.

Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation (NYSE: BAH), the parent company of consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., has appointed Joan Lordi C. Amble to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Ms. Amble most recently served as Executive Vice President, Finance, for American Express Company, and has a prior career in finance and accounting extending from 1977. She will serve on Booz Allen’s Audit Committee. At American Express, Ms. Amble served in senior positions, including the role of comptroller, from 2003 to 2011. Before that, she had a nearly 14-year career at General Electric, where she served in a variety of financial positions, including her final role as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for GE Capital Markets. Earlier in her career, she served from 1984 to 1989 with the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and with Ernst & Young from 1977 to 1984. She currently serves as a Director of Brown-Forman Corporation and Sirius XM Radio. She also serves on the Board of Visitors at The Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business, and is the co-founder and Chairman of W.O.M.E.N in America.

ICF International (NASDAQ: ICFI) announced that it has named James C. Morgan to the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). He will replace interim CFO Sandra Murray. Most recently, Morgan was executive vice president and CFO of Serco, Inc., a division of the UK-based Serco Group PLC. Prior to joining Serco in 2011, Mr. Morgan spent 18 years with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where he most recently held the title of senior vice president and business transformation officer. During his tenure at SAIC, Mr. Morgan also held positions including senior vice president and senior financial officer for strategic and operational finance. In addition, he held several financial executive positions.

Demand Media (NYSE: DMD) announced that Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasurer Mel Tang will be promoted to Chief Financial Officer effective August 16, 2012. Prior to joining the company, Tang was a Director in the media investment banking group at UBS, worked at early stage venture capital firm Prime Ventures, and was an investment banking analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Paragon Technologies, Inc. (OTC: PGNT) announced the appointment of James D. Floyd as Interim CFO, replacing Ronald Semanick. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Floyd held positions as Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controller, Vice President of Accounting, and various other senior accounting positions. Most recently, Mr. Floyd served as Project Manager/PMO for SanDisk Inc.’s Enterprise Growth Global Outsourcing Project.
