The Board of Directors of Ascom Holding AG has appointed Dr. Martin Zwyssig as new Chief Financial Officer of Ascom.
The new CFO will succeed Alberto Romaneschi as from 1 September 2008.
Ascom has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer. The Board of Directors of Ascom Holding AG has selected Dr. Martin Zwyssig, an experienced CFO with a proven track record, as the new Ascom Chief Financial Officer. Martin Zwyssig, who will also become a member of the Executive Board, will take full responsibility for his new position from 1 September 2008. The current CFO, Alberto Romaneschi, has decided to pursue new career opportunities.
He remains on duty until end of August 2008 and will furthermore stay responsible for the divestments of Toll and Payphones in the forthcoming months.
Martin Zwyssig was most recently CFO of Hiestand International AG, Schlieren. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer at Schaffner Holding AG, Luterbach, a publicly listed, international technology company. Before, he was Senior Vice President Finance & Controlling of EMS-Togo Group, Romanshorn, a Business Unit of the EMS Group, Domat/Ems.
The Board of Directors and the Executive Board wish Martin Zwyssig all the best in his new role and would also like to take the opportunity to thank Alberto Romaneschi for his remarkable dedication and his valuable contribution, and wish him all the best for the future.
